Overview
Rave ABCs is the second Foundation Course and is designed for students who have completed Living Your Design or have equivalent foundational familiarity. It explores the relationship between Personality and Design (Black and Red), the circuitry of the BodyGraph, and the structure of the hexagrams.
This course marks a deeper engagement with the mechanics that condition perception and experience. The emphasis is on a clear understanding of structure and pattern, and on observing how these mechanics unfold over time in lived experience.

- Black and Red: Personality and Design
- Circuits and circuitry in the BodyGraph
- Hexagram structure and how it supports chart literacy
- Opportunities to journal and reflect on your own experience
- Access to a private online community for questions and discussion
Course Format
Rave ABCs is currently offered as a self-paced study with optional one-on-one mentorship.
Self-Paced Study + 1:1 Mentorship
- Approximately 10 hours of pre-recorded video lectures by Amy Lee
- One live 60-90 minute Q&A session with Amy Lee or John Cole
- Space to work directly with your questions and clarify key concepts
- Optional review of course themes in relation to your BodyGraph
- Additional PDFs of class slides
- Optional recordings of the Q&A sessions for personal reference
- Program to be completed within three months of registration
After registering, you will receive immediate access to the video lectures. Students are encouraged to watch the material, take notes, and observe how the mechanics show up in daily life before attending the live Q&A sessions.
From time to time, Rave ABCs may also be offered as a live group program. If and when a group format is scheduled, it will be announced on our site and newsletter.
Important Notes
Rave ABCs is an educational course and is not intended to replace an individual Foundation Reading. While charts may be referenced to illustrate course concepts, detailed individual chart analysis is not the focus of this program.
This course is designed for personal study and applied understanding, not certification.
Prerequisites
- Completion of Living Your Design (recommended)
- A basic understanding of Type, Strategy, Authority, and Centers
- A Foundation Reading can be helpful, but is not required
Materials
- Rave ABC Student Manual (recommended)
Recommended
- Access to Human Design chart software for reference and study
- Options include MMI Software, MyBodyGraph, or Maia Mechanics
