Overview
The second Foundation Course is for students who have completed Living Your Design or have equivalent familiarity. It includes approximately 10 hours of recorded video study with Amy Lee, paired with nine live group classes with Amy and John, exploring the relationship between Personality and Design, the BodyGraph’s circuitry, and the structure of the hexagrams. This is where the mechanics that shape perception and experience come into clearer focus.

Course Format
Rave ABCs Live Course runs as a nine-week cohort, pairing recorded lecture study with live weekly class sessions.
Recorded Study + Live Weekly Sessions
- Approximately 10 hours of pre-recorded video lectures by Amy Lee
- Nine live 2-hour class sessions with Amy Lee and John Cole, Tuesdays, September 22nd through November 17th, 2026, 12:00–2:00 PM US Central
- Each live session is recorded and sent to registered students afterward, so missing a class doesn’t mean missing the material
- Real-time space for questions and discussion with the group
- Additional PDFs of class slides
- Access to a private online community for questions and discussion between sessions
After registering, you will receive immediate access to the recorded lecture material. Students are encouraged to begin the video lectures before the live sessions start, so that class time can focus on discussion, questions, and application rather than first exposure to the material.
Rave ABCs is also offered as a self-paced program with one-on-one mentorship, for students who prefer to work at their own pace or can’t attend the live schedule. See the self-study format here.
Important Notes
Rave ABCs is an educational course and is not intended to replace an individual Foundation Reading. While charts may be referenced to illustrate course concepts, detailed individual chart analysis is not the focus of this program.
This course is designed for personal study and applied understanding, not certification.
Prerequisites
- Completion of Living Your Design (recommended)
- A basic understanding of Type, Strategy, Authority, and Centers
- A Foundation Reading can be helpful, but is not required
Materials
- Rave ABC Student Manual (recommended)
Recommended
- Access to Human Design chart software for reference and study
- Options include MMI Software, MyBodyGraph, or Maia Mechanics
