How do we know the difference between what we can change and what we can’t in ourselves and in another? When we take our natural gifts for granted, we may undervalue ourselves and misunderstand others. Romantic love, partnership, and family dynamics can bring some of the greatest joy and pain in our lives. These close, personal relationships can trigger strong reactions and elicit great expectations. Human Design presents specific mechanical absolutes that play out in predictable ways in relationships. Perhaps love can be unconditional but relationships are always conditional. Understanding the mechanical absolutes can help us to accept the truth of any relationship and find our place in it.
To make things more complex, we are living in highly mutative times in terms of the conditioning of changing global cycles and transit influences on our collective experience. Understanding this context, in addition to the individual nature of each partner can help us to take these challenges less personally. Modern love is more dynamic than ever.
This intermediate-level six-hour workshop is open to all who are interested in exploring modern relationship dynamics for themselves.
Workshop Format
With a mechanical understanding of our effect on each other, cultural context for current times, ample examples and trends based on hundreds of readings, and the opportunity to ask questions about your own relationships, the Modern Love Workshop is a primer for navigating partnerships today.

Facilitated by Amy Lee, a 5/1 Mental Projector on the Cross of the Clarion, and John Cole, a 2/4 Ego Projector on the Cross of the Unexpected. Amy and John have been experimenting with Human Design for over 14 and 8 years respectively and have been fascinated by the patterns they’ve seen through studying Relationship dynamics.
The workshop will be held online using Zoom over three Fridays on Dec 1st, 8th & 15th, 2023. We will provide recordings and slides of the workshop to all participants for their personal use.
Notes
This is an intermediate workshop for those with a basic understanding of their design and a foundational understanding of Human Design. The aim of the workshop is to share our view of the elements and themes of relationship dynamics. The workshop is not a substitute for professional training nor a connection reading given by a certified analyst. While we may call for and bring up individual chart examples during the course of the workshop, individual analysis of all participants is not part of the program.

The Human Design Foundation Reading is a great way to start your journey and exploration of life through the lens of Human Design. It can be beneficial to have a Foundation Reading and a solid understanding of your design prior to taking this workshop, although it is not required.
