Overview
Living Your Design is an introductory Human Design course designed to help you understand the basic mechanics of your design and how they show up in lived experience.
Rather than approaching Human Design as a belief system or personality framework, this course introduces it as a practical map for observing how energy, decision-making, and awareness function through the body. The emphasis is on recognition and orientation, not self-improvement.
Through guided study, you will learn how to work with your Type, Strategy, Authority, and Centers, and how to distinguish between what is consistent in your design and what is conditioned or variable over time.
What This Course Covers
- The difference between the True Self and the Not-Self as observable experience
- The nine Centers and how definition and openness operate
- The four Types and their basic strategies
- Authority as a process of decision-making rather than a mental rule
- How alignment reduces resistance without force or effort
Course Format
Living Your Design is currently offered as a self-paced study with optional one-on-one mentorship.
Self-Paced Study + 1:1 Mentorship
- Approximately 8 hours of pre-recorded video lectures by Amy Lee
- One live 60-90-minute Q&A session with Amy Lee or John Cole
- Focused review of the material in relation to your questions and observations
- Optional recording of the session for your reference
- Program to be completed within three months of registration
After registering, you will receive immediate access to the video lectures. Students are encouraged to watch the material, take notes, and observe how the mechanics show up in daily life before scheduling the live Q&A session.
From time to time, Living Your Design may also be offered as a live group program. If and when a group format is scheduled, it will be announced on our site and newsletter.
How the Course Works
This course is designed to support gradual understanding rather than information overload.
The self-paced material introduces core concepts in a clear, structured way. The live mentorship session provides space for clarification, integration, and practical questions arising from your own experience with the material.
Important Notes
