The first module of the Art of Seeing curriculum builds on the foundation you’ve built and develops interpretive skills. Where the Foundation Courses establish the key elements of the chart, this module develops the capacity to see an individual design clearly, holistically, and without distortion.

You’ll meet with Amy or John for two 90-minute private sessions. Course and sessions should be completed within 8 weeks. One session focuses on the Individual Bodygraph. The second session focuses on the Incarnation Cross and Nodes. Session time is spent looking at charts together in detail, your own and those of people you actually know, reading mechanics, observing how they meet lived experience, and working through what you see as your skills develop.

The curriculum moves through three complementary views of the individual chart. The True Self addresses the healthy functioning of both defined and undefined mechanics: the reliable expression of definition and the wisdom of openness when in a healthy state. The Not-Self examines how conditioning distorts expression and creates psychological and relational suffering where there could be spaciousness. The Transcendent Self introduces Profile, Incarnation Cross, and the Nodes as the natural consequence of inner alignment and the healthy expression of purpose.

  • Slides provided for review prior to each meeting
  • Written contemplations and assignments between sessions, with email access throughout
  • A final integrative presentation (written or pre-recorded) of your own chart and one additional chart
  • Access to a private community for Art of Seeing participants

Prerequisites: Working fluency with the essential mechanics of Human Design, whether through the Foundation Bundle, the IHDS Foundation Courses (Living Your Design, Rave ABCs, Rave Cartography), or equivalent study. A brief conversation is available for anyone who would like to discuss readiness.
